At the invitation of the President of the Mauritius Dental Council, Dr. Bissumbhur, Prof. Balaji SM, from Chennai, India paid a visit of courtesy today at the seat of the council. Prof. Balaji is an eminent craniofacial surgeon from Chennai and a Dr .BC Roy awardee of the Indian Government’s Medical Council of India. Besides being an astute clinical researcher, avid clinician and academician, Prof. Balaji also continuously engages in providing free-voluntary services for patients in limited resources setting. Prof. Balaji presented the council with his textbooks.
The council took the opportunity to present him with certificate honouring his valuable contribution for providing free surgeries in our country as well as for conducting CPD programs
